Partnerships Account Manager – Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon Event
Responsible for managing sponsor relationships, delivering partnership activations, and supporting commercial development for the Mallorca 140.6 triathlon event.
Spain’s Balearic island of Mallorca hosted a new long-distance triathlon event with the launch of the Mallorca 140.6, held in the resort of Alcudia in October 2020. Following several years without a long-course race of this format, the event marked the return of full-distance triathlon to the island, with ambitions of re-establishing Mallorca as a key destination for both age-group and professional athletes.
Mallorca 140.6 took its name from the total race distance of 140.6 miles, equivalent to 226 kilometres. Alongside the full-distance race, a half-distance format was also included under the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon HALF branding, featuring a 1,900m swim, 90km bike, and 21km run.
The event was organised by local company Kumulus and supported by Muro City Council, the Muro Beach Hotel Association, Balearic Islands Tourism, the Majorca Tourism Foundation, and the Balearic Triathlon Federation.
The organising team drew on extensive experience in delivering major endurance events in Mallorca, including the Zafiro Palma Marathon, Portocolom Triathlon, Long Course Weekend Mallorca, Powerman Mallorca Duathlon, Spartan Race Mallorca, Super League Triathlon, and previous editions of IRONMAN Mallorca.

Partnership Account Manager – Challenge Bled Triathlon
Responsible for managing sponsor relationships, partnership delivery, and commercial coordination for the Challenge Bled triathlon event.
Challenge Bled marked an important chapter for the Challenge Family series in the heart of Europe. Set in one of Europe’s most scenic locations, the event took place in Bled, situated on the shores of Lake Bled in northwestern Slovenia.
Renowned for its natural beauty, Bled is one of Slovenia’s most visited destinations, offering strong infrastructure, accommodation options, and international accessibility through nearby airports.
Bled has long been regarded as the cradle of Slovenian triathlon, with the sport’s roots in the region dating back to 1984. The introduction of a Challenge Family event in Bled was therefore a natural continuation of its strong triathlon tradition. Beyond triathlon, the region is widely recognised as a centre of Slovenian sport, producing world-class athletes across rowing, biathlon, ski jumping, alpine skiing, ice hockey, cycling, and triathlon.
The local organising team, led by Miro Kregar - 13-time Ultraman Hawaii World Championships finisher and IRONMAN-certified triathlon coach—brought extensive experience in delivering international events in the region. These included the ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup, the Loveman Slovenian Half Distance Triathlon (2010 & 2011), and the Triathlon Race of Nations, among others.
